Gearing up for the back-to-school season is a lot more than notebooks. There will be an anticipation of questions about what that return will seem. Because of the evolving situation, getting back to school will likely look different from what you were used to before. It might seem awkward and overwhelming to adapt. No matter how you feel, be sure you are not alone. The concept of change can be unsettling. However, it is inevitable and an integral part of your journey in life. Not sure you can do it? The key to getting through all this change is as much preparation as possible. Indeed, we are all going to be adjusting to a new normal!



Life is full of unexpected events that we have to face, be it happy or sad. The pandemic is no exception. In a new world of social distancing, education has become entirely virtual. Now, as the start of a brand-new school season is approaching, remind yourself it is preparation time for the next stage of the new normal. Keep in mind that things might not look and feel the same as they did when you left. Reentering the classroom might come with a lot of distractions. Adapting or becoming used to new ideas requires considerable effort. Despite having the distance learning facility, nothing compares to being back to school. Hence, be patient with yourself as you relearn how to focus in a physical classroom environment. Take the bad with the good. It is hard, but it is worth embracing it.



A daily routine will help you to stay organized and focused. It can improve overall well-being and productivity. However, the pandemic has brought challenges to every individual, disrupting the daily routine completely. At this moment in time, having an ingrained back-to-school cycle will be much important than ever. To further foster connection and ease, you must seek stability within yourself. Of course, it is always easier said than done! But it is a pressing priority. Now, being positive does not mean you are in denial about the reality of a situation. It is a tool that helps you face challenges instead of becoming overwhelmed by hopelessness. The following points might seem simple, but it takes a lot of self-motivation to put them into practice.

  • Set your intentions for the day and face them with enthusiasm.
  • Remember that everything is temporary, except change.



The journey of life is not a bed of roses. It is about finding a balance between the good and the ugly. If you want to experience life in abundance, then take it as it comes. If you plunge into bitterness, the circumstances will control you. Therefore, be prepared to handle anything that comes your way. You may wonder how is it possible to tackle uncertainty? Honestly, there is no way to know because life is unpredictable. Likewise, getting back to school may feel overwhelming for some of you. And that is understandable. However, don’t burden yourself by overthinking. Everything happens for a reason. The most important skill is to be adaptive and learn how to survive in different environments. Because life has to go no matter what the circumstances are.
